Learn practical strategies and gain confidence in supporting your Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child or young person with connection to culture, community and country.

Join AJ Williams-Tchen and other carers to share ideas, learn and be connected, with an overall focus of caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and developing deeper understandings of their cultures.

AJ Williams-Tchen is a proud Wiradjuri / Wotjobulak Social Worker, Nurse & Youth Worker, Director of Girraway Ganyi Consultancy, nominee for Australian of the Year Victoria 2024 and winner of the Social Worker of the Year 2023 (Allied Health Awards).

This session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.
