Trainer Expression of Interest 2020

Trainer Expression of Interest 2020

Carer KaFE invites expressions of interest from CSO's and individual trainers to develop and deliver training sessions to our 2020 training calendar.

We are seeking submissions to deliver high quality, research-based training that provides Kinship and Foster Carers across Victoria with relevant knowledge and skills. If you have an idea for a training session, we invite you to submit an EOI in the following categories (links to online application form)*:

The deadline for submitting an application of interest is Friday 27th September 11:59 pm. Applications are then reviewed by an independent panel. We aim to communicate the panel's decision by end of business, October 25th.

*Note: you can submit more than one application in any of the categories

What are we looking for?

Through our training, we aim to provide attendees with practical, hands-on tools they can implement in their roles as carers.

For 2020, some of the key areas in which we are seeking training include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Play therapy
  • Kinship care
  • Aboriginal carers
  • Aboriginal children and young people
  • Teens
  • Children and young people with disabilities (eg. autism, FASD, Downs Syndrome)

We welcome innovation so feel free to be creative with training topics and delivery style.
