Reach for La Trobe! Raising Expectations higher education open day

La Trobe University (Bendigo campus) and Raising Expectations invite you to start your journey to higher education by spending a day on campus!

Are you in high school? Come along to this free, fun event with your carer, teacher, parent or supporter. Hear from our keynote speaker Brittany Witnish, Youth Advisor at the Commission of Children and Young People and Young Leader at the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, about her pathway to university. You will also hear from current and past uni students from diverse backgrounds, including out-of-home care, about their experiences getting to university and succeeding. Students in Years 7 to 9 can explore the campus and ‘Race around La Trobe’, take part in a Laser Tag workshop and chat with university students. Students in Years 10 to 12 can participate in Robotics and Exercise Science workshops, chat to university students, learn about different careers, education pathways, supports and scholarships and tour the campus and accommodation.
