Life After Loss: its effect on the developing child and you (Sunshine) - POSTPONED
It's hard when placements end - get some more tools to support the grief process
Carers often experience grief after the end of a placement. Working through grief is a personal journey that takes time. Grieving children and young people need caring, supportive, adults to help them navigate the confusing feelings, thoughts, and behaviours associated with grief. Our own personal losses can affect our ability to respond to grieving children and young people. It can be a great comfort to put the confusing experience of grief in the context of current thinking about grief as a process, and as a central experience of what it means to be human.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FACE TO FACE TRAINING SESSION HAS BEEN POSTPONED. IF YOU REGISTER YOUR INTEREST, WE WILL NOTIFY YOU WHEN IT IS RE-SCHEDULED AS AN ONLINE TRAINING SESSION.
