Want to learn more about the PACE model?

This training will assist carers to explore the reasons behind challenging behaviours and introduces foster and kinship carers to a therapeutic approach to parenting called PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy).

At this one day session you will learn;

  • The reasons why children in care present with challenging behaviours
  • Develop your understanding of attachment and trauma informed care
  • PACE parenting- An everyday parenting approach that actually works!
  • How to build strong healthy relationships with kids in your care and how to help them heal from trauma
  • How to respond to difficult behaviours
