Carer Q&A Session #1: Surviving Lockdown 6

Specialist topics

Foster Care Association of Victoria Q&A Series for carers

Is your wellbeing taking a hit during Lockdown?

Caregiving is hard enough with all the demands on your time and emotions associated with compassion fatigue and secondary trauma.  Couple this with lockdown conditions which restricts assess to our usual coping mechanisms…

However, it's imperative to acknowledge how you're feeling and to take some steps to protect your mental & physical health.

Come and join other carers in this informal online session facilitated by FCAV wellbeing practitioners – share your experiences or just sit back and listen and learn 15-minute self-care tips to use every day for improving your mood and health.

There is also the option of participating in a short meditation.  There is a growing amount of scientific evidence around the benefits of including this practice in your daily life!

PLEASE NOTE that this session will be recorded.  If you do not want to be apart of a recorded session you can register for our other evening session.  Click HERE.
