How To Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk (Online) [EVENING SESSION]
Need help communicating with the child in your care?
This session will explore the following skills:
- The ‘Killers’ of Communications
- Attending….’yes… I am ready to listen’
- Empathy ….is more than “I know how you feel”
- Asking effective questions so you will get more than just a ‘yes’, ‘no’, ‘dunno’ answer!!
Participants will be introduced to the skills and provided an opportunity to practice these skills.
This session will run for 1.5 hours with a 30min Q&A session afterwards.

Chris Daicos is a trained teacher and social worker who has, since leaving the Department of Education, operated as a facilitator, coach and trainer with over two decades of experience in the public and private sectors.
