Griefline Loneliness and Isolation (Morning)

Specialist topics
Join @Griefline facilitator Bryan to explore

In this training session designed for kinship, foster, and permanent carers, Bryan will focus on understanding loneliness and isolation while emphasising the importance of self-care. As dedicated carers, it is crucial to recognise the impact of loneliness and equip ourselves with evidence-based approaches to reduce its effects. Bryan will explore definitions and classifications of loneliness, delve into the causes, and risk factors, and understand the psychological factors that contribute to this experience. Additionally, we will discuss the connection between grief, loss, and loneliness, and provide practical tools and strategies to help carers look after themselves while supporting the children in your care.

We have two sessions available on the 20th of Sept, 2023.

The first session is from 10.00 am 11 am
The second session is from 6 pm - 7 pm.
