Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Learning & Development Expression of Interest

Carer KaFÉ is putting out an Expression of Interest application for a learning and development program to be developed and delivered that will engage with Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander kinship and foster carers and to increase their knowledge on the home based care system and or increase their skills in caring.

Carer KaFE is seeking applications on the below document that can demonstrate some of the learning objectives we have attached as well as any you can add from your expertise and connection to community. The sessions will be delivered at metro and regional ACCO’s across Victoria so any existing relationships with the ACCO’s will be a bonus.

Carer KaFE has a budget of approximately $60,000 to dedicate to the development and implementation of this new session. This will include the pilot of 2 to 4 sessions and a joint evaluation of the sessions. If they sessions are successful in achieving the learning objectives set out then the session will be integrated into the face to face training schedule and budget for Carer KaFE.
