Carer KaFÉ Announcement

From launching in April 2017, Carer KaFÉ has facilitated the home-based carer learning and development program, through the Foster Care Association of Victoria (FCAV).
In late 2022, the program was put out for tender and as a result, a consortium comprising of the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, Kinship Carers Victoria (KCV), and the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) has been selected to deliver the learning and development program for carers.
Carer KaFÉ would like to thank the FCAV for supporting the program in facilitating the development and delivery of Victoria’s first centralised and standardised training program for carers.
The learning and development program will continue through the consortium, commencing on 1st April 2023 and carers can continue to find the program information, training opportunities and resources at www.carerkafe.org.au.
