Retreat for Carers of First Nations Children Announced!

Are you a carer of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child? Express your interest in experiencing a retreat on the land of the Dja Dja Wurrung people.  Be rejuvenated with an overnight stay and engaging two-day conference program. Catering, all retreat sessions and accommodation will be provided complimentary. Free parking is available onsite. A $150 voucher will be provided to carers at the retreat,  in recognition of potential travel and babysitting costs.

Dates: Saturday 20 April – Sunday 21 April 2024

Please fill in the Retreat Expression of Interest Form by 2 March 2024. Selection will be via a random ballot with geographical and diversity targets considered. While priority will be given to carers who have not attended overnight retreats or conferences with Carer KaFE in the last 3 years, we strongly encourage everyone interested to apply. Only one carer per household can attend. Open to both First Nations and non-First Nations carers.
