This workshop will assist caregivers to identify the signs that their child might be at risk of self-harm, depression or anxiety.

Participants will be provided with a variety of information and resources that will assist them to notice, inquire and take appropriate action to respond to the needs of a child / young person in their care.

This session will run for 1.5 hours with a 30min Q&A session afterwards.

Chris Daicos is a trained teacher and social worker who has, since leaving the Department of Education, operated as a facilitator, coach and trainer with over two decades of experience in the public and private sectors. As an educator – having taught in the Master of Social Work, Master of Teaching at Melbourne University, she understands pedagogy that has contributed to her extensive experience in developing and delivering bespoke professional learning opportunities to hundreds of individuals on a range of topics.Presented by: Chris Daicos (Dip Tch( Prim). Please note that Carer KaFE can cover the cost of babysitting while you attend a Carer KaFE training session.  You need to organise for an approved babysitter via your agency.  This needs to be organised and approved by Carer KaFE before the training session.
