Carer KaFÉ has 30 'One Day' delegate tickets to the ACF International Childhood Trauma Conference…

Carer KaFÉ is inviting Statutory Kinship Carers, Accredited Foster Carers & Permanent Carers to register their interest to go in the draw for 1 of 30 'One Day' delegate tickets to the ACF International Childhood Trauma Conference. 

The International Childhood Trauma Conference has a range of international trauma experts across the 5 days (the Sunday Welcome Reception & Conversation Hour is included in the Monday day ticket) including:

• Dan Hughes & Jon Baylin
• Ed Tronick & Marilyn Davillier
• Dan Siegel
• Maggie Kline

Carers will be able to choose the day they wish to attend to hear from their preferred presenter.  For more information and to preview the conference program and speakers please click HERE.

Carer KaFÉ has 30 'One Day' delegate tickets for Statutory Kinship Carers, Accredited Foster Carers & Pemanent Carers to attend this conference. Register your interest to go in the ballot for a ticket.

Eligibility:

• Carers must currently be either a Statutory Kinship Carer, Accredited Foster Carer or a Permanent Carer registered in Victoria.
• Carers who have received financial support from Carer KaFÉ to attend a face to face conference (not online conference) in the past 4 years are not eligible.  This does not include carers who may have been fortunate enough to attend a Carer KaFÉ carer retreat.

Key dates:

• Closing date for registrations: Wednesday 6th July 2022.
• All eligible carers registered will go into a random number ballot drawn on Thursday 7^th July.
• Selected carers will be notified on Friday 8^th July 2022.

Please note Carer KaFÉ can support appropriate transport and costs of babysitting while you attend this conference if required. Please speak with your worker / agency to organise for an approved babysitter.  Any quoted costs for this support needs to be approved by Carer KaFÉ two weeks prior to the event (where possible).
