This workshop focuses on the mental well-being of children. Discover effective strategies to navigate common challenges such as friendship dynamics, emotional regulation, and fostering resilience. Speaker: Therese Sheedy, Smiling Mind
Therese is an in-house Psychologist at Smiling Mind. She is a nationally registered psychologist with over 25 years experience. Therese has a Masters Degree in Applied Positive Psychology and certificates in Positive Psychology Coaching, Positive Psychology in Education and Mindfulness-based emotional balance. After using mindfulness in counselling therapy for many years she decided to become a trained meditation teacher. has worked across many areas of the education sector including The Department of Education and with the Catholic Education Office. She has worked in catholic, independent and government schools and corporate organisations focusing on building resilience, wellbeing, and mindfulness-based practices and strategies to promote holistic mental health and wellbeing for adults and children.
