VACCA Carers Cultural Camp (Bacchus Marsh) - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN

Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) and Carer KaFE invite Aboriginal carers, and kinship and foster carers caring for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children to a retreat at Bacchus Marsh

This overnight retreat will provide a culturally rich and relaxing night away on the traditional lands. Come along and immerse yourself in cultural activities in a fun and safe environment.

During this retreat you will:

  • Experience a Welcome to Country and a Smoking Ceremony
  • Stay in your own accommodation
  • Take part in cultural activities and Yarning Circles
  • Get to understand mroe about culture and community from VACCA staff and volunteers

There will be fun activities for kids which will be run throughout the camp. Gift bags will be provided to every carer. This retreat includes one-night accommodation and meals.

Terms and Conditions:

One registration per person. If you are registering as a couple please ensure select 2 tickets at the beginning of registration. 

If you have won a spot to attend the camp you will receive a confirmation email on 31st October 2019.

Carers who have previously been on a retreat, camp or conference will be placed on a waitlist.

Accommodation and meals will be paid and provided for in the camp. This is a smoke and alcohol free zone.
